Getting Ready
I started the process by measuring the wall and taking pictures for reference. The restaurant owners and I discussed ideas and decided on something "friendly" and "vibrant" that incorporated the restaurant's logo. I sketched out different variations and provided mockups to show how they would look on the wall. After agreeing on the design, we were ready to paint.
The Process
It was the 4th of July weekend and we had only three days to complete the painting before the restaurant would re-open. I used a projector to help with drafting the outline on the wall before adding colors and filling in details and touch ups.
